Safeguarding at Wardley
Our commitment
Wardley Christadelphians is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone who attends our meetings, activities and events. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
We aim to protect children, young people and adults at risk from harm, abuse, neglect and exploitation, and to respond properly if any concern is raised.
What we have in place
Named safeguarding leads: Clear contacts for concerns and advice.
Safer recruitment: Appropriate checks, references and role expectations for relevant volunteers.
DBS checks where required: Checks are used for eligible roles, including children’s work.
Clear reporting process: Concerns are recorded, passed to the right people, and referred to statutory services when needed.
